Sleep Apnea & CPAP Machine
Day 4 with my CPAP machine. I am able to sleep with it a little longer every night, and it is worth its weight in gold for the huge increase in energy I am already experiencing.
If you have tried and failed one in the past, try again. The new machines are small and quiet, and their are so many mask choices, all designed for comfort, you are much more likely to succeed now than even a few years ago.
Besides, sleep apnea can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke and organ damage, just for starters. It also aggravates chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, and causes countless car accidents.

Sew Mama Sew!
Sew Mama Sew!
Another really, really cool site with tons of ideas, tutorials, fabrics and more!!
I am really having fun surfing tonight. I always stay home on the 4th, to make sure all the critters are ok. I am afraid of fireworks, so I would prefer they be no closer than the TV. Out here in the country there are still plenty of people letting off loud noisy illegal things, so it's a bit noisy right now. My kids are with their dad, leaving only Donna, her grandson Nathaniel and I at home with our critters.

Check this site out!! I haven't really figured out the Technorati thing, except that it is kinda like a blog search engine. I sure like the list of 'refashion' articles and tutorials!
followers, fractures and goats...
I am sorry I haven't done much with this blog yet.... I need to figure out how to contact followers so I can start sending out some of my earrings to you.... I fractured my shoulder recently, while playing with my goat...not his fault and a story for when it doesn't hurt to type...grin. Anyway, my 1st 3 brave followers will be getting their earrings as soon as I can figure out how to contact you.
Polymer Clay Rings Tutorial from 'Art of My Clay' blog.
This is the 1st picture in a Picasa web album slideshow tutorial from "Art of My Clay". Very cool blog about polymer clay with tons of tutorials. She is also the producer of Cabezels, which is a mold for making polymer clay bezels and cabochons that is equally cool.
I just recently installed Google's Picasa, and this is the first time I have seen a web album slide show. I think it has a lot of possibilities! I really want to make some of these rings!!

The Art Of My Clay: Make your own texture tool
The Art Of My Clay: Make your own texture tool
Ok, sometimes I am a little slow. I just now figured out how to choose which blog to post to from my "blog this" tool in google chrome. It's one of those extensions you can add to your browser.
So I haven't posted for awhile. Things have been kind of complicated lately. The lady I take care of has been ill, I have been sick, and my loan modification finally went through. I am still pretty tired, and they haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, but at least I will be working again soon. I seem to get even less done when I am off work than when I am working. I think I need to work on my self discipline....
Ok, the link is to a cool blog by a polymer clay artist, with lots of how to's and eye candy. I have a stash of clay and I really want to incorporate it into my jewelry. Although I suppose the 1st step would be to make some jewelry....grin.

Mason Jar Soap Dispenser by MidwestFinds on Etsy
Mason Jar Soap Dispenser by MidwestFinds on Etsy
Kelly, from the last post I made a few minutes ago, has a "how" on making these soap dispensers found in this etsy shop. This seller shows several unique ways to re-use, and upcycle vintage mason jars.
I thought it would be cool to mount lids on the underside of your cabinets, and screw the jars into them for storage, like people do in their workshops.
I wouldn't recommend using vintage lids, since they would be destroyed by the srews you put through them to mount them to the cabinets. You could buy (horrors) reproduction tin lids, or you could use standard size jar lids from your kitchen. Of course you would decorate them.... Babyfood jars would also work...of course.

This artist and blogger has a lot of good ideas for reusing, upcycling and using everyday items in unique ways to add some charm to our lives and our houses. If you don't feel like making the items yourself, you can buy them on ets.
